The CHW and CHW Instructor certification courses are 16 weeks.
All courses are 100% virtual with a combination of self-paced, on-demand sessions as well as live, virtual instructor-led Zoom sessions. The CHW course meets on Tuesdays from 6-8pm CST and the CHW Instructor course meets on Thursdays from 6-8p CST. Meeting times will vary and can be found in the course syllabus.
The total cost of the CHW certification course is $1000 ($100 application/admin fee + $900 tuition). All CHW learners must also purchase a textbook before the start of the course. The average cost of the textbook is $100.
The total cost of the CHW Instructor certification course $1500 ($100 application/admin fee + $1400 tuition). Textbook is optional for this course.
Yes, payment plans are available for both the CHW and the CHW Instructor certification courses. Payment plans are paid in 3 monthly installments for the CHW Certification Course and 4 monthly installments for the CHW Instructor Certification Course. Payment plans are discussed during the Admissions Interview. Both full and partial scholarships are available and based on financial need. Scholarships are accepted 2 weeks before the start of each course. Do not apply for the course and apply for a scholarship. If you are selected as the scholarship recipient, you will be notified one week before the start of the course. You can apply for a scholarship here.
